This is a Keppel Fels B-class design similar to units previously built for Seadrill with high quality and high capacity drilling equipment from National Oilwell Varco.

B319 was contracted in 2010 by Standard Drilling Ltd at Keppel Fels in Singapore. Standard Consulting Pte Ltd was engaged by the Owner as technical consultant during the contract negotiations, and construction started immediately after signing of the contract. During the construction startup we assisted the owner with setting up a site management team.
