The Global Sapphire (ex. Alligator) was purchased by Global Tender Barges AS from Pride while still on a contract offshore Angola for Chevron. Upon completion of the job the unit was to be docked and upgraded at Drydocks World's repair and conversion yard on Batam - Indonesia (Pertama). We inspected the unit ofshore in Angola to prepare the yard specification and acted as project & site managers during the upgrade.
